This is the debut album of the brazilian drummer and composer Alex Duarte. With 7 originals compositions filled of colors, samba and jazz, the composer combines the traditional and the modern of brazilian music within his arrangements. "Serra do mar" is a beautiful landscape inside brazilian forest, and the whole composition inspiration comes from that.
